David Bolger is president and CEO of Executive Briefing, a Washington, D.C.-based communications management consulting firm. Mr. Bolger assists clients in the national security, defense, intelligence community, and transportation sectors with strategic communications, media relations, and crisis management programs. He has worked in corporate communications, litigation communications, politics and public policy in the U.S. for clients in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
Mr. Bolger’s experience includes serving as a Staff Assistant on Capitol Hill for Senator Joe Biden, as Vice President for Communications at a leading telecom trade association, as lead spokesman for the federal government’s railroad safety administration, as global spokesman on public policy issues for a Fortune 50 corporation, and as a communications consultant for clients around the world. He has worked in the U.S. Department of Transportation as a political appointee and as a consultant at the Department of Defense on multiple advocacy and communications projects.
Mr. Bolger has an MBA in finance from the University of Gloucestershire in the United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In addition to serving on the TACC as a board member, he is a member of the National Press Club.
